  • Calcined alumina is used extensively for a wide variety of cleaning, polishing, and deburring applications because of its unique crystal structure. Its particles are made up of many smaller crystals that extend the abrasive and polishing action.
5. When is Boehmite used instead of ATH?
  • Its high heat capacity combined with high temperature stability makes itself ideal for use requiring higher processing temperatures. It also can be handled without problems at temperatures up to 340℃.
